We are very appreciative of the many years that our daughter has spent learning piano with Maria. She has not only developed some amazing skills on the piano from a supportive and caring teacher but also the growth and courage that comes from being gently encouraged to perform in front of an audience at the annual concert, as well as the independence skills and responsibility to practise weekly. There are many wonderful positives to learning a musical instrument and Maria makes it a fantastic experience for all!

My children have been attending the Yarra Valley School of Music for 4 years and their enjoyment of their lessons has been very productive. My name is Vanessa Reid. I have known Maria for years , I worked with her at the Healesville Hotel Harvest Store. She has always been a very hard worker and very dedicated to her work.
It was then she was starting up her business of Yarra Valley school of music with her little aqua car.
I got my daughter started with Maria with piano because I knew the love of music Maria had and hoped she could pass that on to my daughter.
Well, she did! My daughter loves and enjoys playing the piano and now so does my son.
